OAED - An Innovative Device To Treat Various Eye Disorders
This device is designed for such eye disorders treatment as: shortsightedness, longsightedness and a cross-eye.The main operation principle of this device is the orthoptic swinging principle and the principle of the eye sight recovery, which does not require a surgical interference (this method is especially effective for the children and teenagers).
The principle of operation is based on the alternate placing the different dioptres lens to an eye. In such a way the eye-muscle swinging takes place. The “swinging” method use allows training the change of the eyes focusing during the objects visual perception which are situated in the different distances away and to assure the steady normal lasting eye refringence. By this any shortsightedness and longsightedness exposures are eliminated. The squint lens use corrects the cross-eye.
The device’s existing analogues did not get the widespread distribution because of their large dimensions and considerable material capacity. Alongside with this the use of the similar devices is possible only in the specially dedicated hospital rooms.
The main principle of OAED is a new approach to the ophthalmological equipment for the eye sight swinging. The OAED device is compact and stylish what gives the possibility to use it in the everyday life: at home, in transport, at work, at the rest. Its compactness is achieved by means of a unique lens position structural design: 12 lens are located in a closed chain, which is of the Mobius band form.
The lens change in the loop is caused automatically by a servodrive every minute. The drive is powered by the kinetic energy. The battery charges during the motion.
The device gives the possibility to train the eye-muscle, correcting the longsightedness or shortsightedness in any conditions, it is also compacted and fits in a pocket, and it is possible to set a center-to-center distance on this device individually for a specific patient.
The minimum details of design amount and the cheap raw material for its manufacturing give the reasonable price for one’s eye sight quality.
