i-Free provides interactive services for Channel One

St. Petersburg, Russia. i-Free, a leading provider of content services in Russia and the CIS,* will continue to work together with the national Channel One and Mandarin PR agency to support interactive services for some of the most popular shows on Channel One.

i-Free has been a partner of Channel One for a few years, providing technical services for a broad range of interactive features. In 2009, i-Free made audience voting possible on such shows as Ice Age, Moment of Glory and Legacy of the Republic, and provided technical support for the mobile interactive services on the shows Field of Miracles, KVN, Fazenda, Let’s Get Married and Trendy Verdict.
All interactive services were delivered by i-Free in collaboration with Mandarin PR agency, a group company of Red Square Productions – the major producer of shows for Channel One.

i-Free will keep providing technical support for the mobile services on Channel One shows Moment of Glory, Legacy of the Republic, Field of Miracles, Fazenda, Let’s Get Married and Trendy Verdict in 2010.

i-Free also keeps up the Channel One Voice Portal at 0736. Viewers can call this number from their mobile phone to sign up to go on such shows as Plot of Land, Let’s Get Married, Trendy Verdict or Fazenda, or hear some experts’ advice.
The technology used by i-Free on those projects can receive and process the maximum number of calls and text messages at the same time from all parts of Russia and the CIS.

“We are glad that the expertise and technological capability of i-Free is used to set up easy two-way communication routes between viewers and their favorite shows,” said Vladislav Kostiunin, who is in charge of interactive projects at i-Free. “We hope our partnership with Channel One will continue this year.”
