Methodology

This index characterizes sales dynamics of mobile content in the Russian market and shows the influence of seasonal and economic factors on customer demand.

“Market pulse″ reflects the total sales volume of mobile content made through printed mass media. A few mass media with fixed circulation and constant advertisement volume are taken the basis for the analysis.

The figures presented on the diagram are conditional indexes based on sales volumes. Seasonal sales are excluded from the calculations as they distort the actual market situation.

The index is calculated monthly on the first day of the month for the previous month, beginning July 2008.
