Telemetry is the М2М (Machine To Machine) technology, or data gathering and transmission from remote or moving objects using a wireless unit and some server equipment.

The unit on the remote object scans and transmits data into its host system. All data exchange happens at server level. The server module manages all the units in the system, scanning system status data from each unit, analyzing unit operation, and transmitting all data to the operator screen.

NFC (Near Field Communication) is a wireless technology that connects at short distances (a few centimeters). One great thing about NFC is that it's really simple: you put your NFC card or device to a scanner or another NFC device, and data exchange happens in a fraction of a second.

Compared to other no-touch technology such as Bluetooth, IrDa, Wi-Fi or other, NFC has faster link-up (under 0.1 sec), lower energy consumption and higher data transfer speed. NFC interface hardware also costs significantly less.
